The attention board.
Every week it reads the league's editorial coverage and works out who the story is and who is invisible. Not who is good. Who is being written about. The loud end of the board is below; the rest is for members.
Published slice
Who the league is writing about
The three most-covered teams in the latest build. An index of 1.00 is an even share of coverage; 2.50 is two and a half times its share.

The quiet end
The teams nobody is writing about are the half you cannot work out for yourself, so they are not on this page. 18 of the 32 teams sit below an even share of coverage this week, and 4 are under half of it, and the lowest is on 0.12. Which teams those are, and where they land against the betting splits, goes to members.

What members get that this page does not show
Said plainly, because a static page cannot hide anything: the rest is simply not written into this file.
- The other 29 teams
- Only the three most-covered are published here. The middle of the table is where the interesting disagreements sit, and it is also where the measure is least tested.
- The per-game view
- Both sides of all 15 matchups, each team's index against the other, so you can see which side is riding the story and which is being ignored.
- The spot flags
- Games where coverage and the betting split pull in opposite directions. 1 is flagged in the current build.
- How it gets used
- Where a pick sits on the board goes in the write-up next to the price read. It is never the reason for a pick and it never changes one.
How to read it
A measurement, not a play
It has never changed a pick, and it is not allowed to. The house rule is that the board is reported as context next to the price read and never overrides it. Picks are made on money against tickets, the same as every other page here.
It is not validated, and will not be for a long time. The pre-registration needs 120 graded games before it is allowed to claim anything, at roughly fifteen a week. That is a 2027 question. Until then every number on it is an observation, not a result.
Its one graded case went both ways at once. The flagged side won its game by 17.5 points and still lost on closing-line value, which is exactly why one case proves nothing and why the count has to get to 120.
It is stale by kickoff, on purpose. The board is built Thursday morning, so a quarterback ruled out on Saturday is not in it. Coverage counted before the news is coverage that under-rates the team.
College football
There is a CFB version, and it is not a board
The same collector runs on all 138 FBS teams, but nothing is ranked and nothing is scored, on purpose. See what has been banked →
